Using Your Mask for the First Time
- Connect the air tubing from your CPAP to the mask elbow
- Place the cushion under your nose and pull the frame over your head
- Adjust head strap until the mask fits comfortably
- Reattach the elbow to complete assembly
Finding the Right Mask Fit
This product is a fit pack, meaning it comes with multiple cushion sizes so you can find the perfect mask that will stay in place and won't leak. These sizes include small, medium, and small wide. We suggest testing each cushion size included in your fit pack to ensure you choose the right one. If you mask is creating red marks or leaking air, adjust your head straps first. Then if the problem continues, try a different cushion size.
Choosing the Correct Frame Size
The N30i is available in two frame sizes, small or standard. Most men are encouraged to go with the standard-sized frame. Most women and other customers with small to petite frames are encouraged to go with the small frame size. If your frame feels too tight or too loose, we suggest sizing up or down.

The following information includes recommended instructions for the general care and maintenance of our CPAP masks. Please review your mask's product manual for further details, including dishwasher safety notes.
Mask Part Replacement Schedule
- Cushion: Every 1-3 Months
- Frame: Every 3-6 Months
- Headgear: Every 6 Months
- Complete Mask: Every 12 Months
Disassembling Your Mask
- Pull mask elbow away from frame while squeezing the quick-release tabs
- Gently pull mask frame connector to separate frame from cushion
- Undo velcro head straps and pull away from hollow frame
Daily Cleaning
- Disassemble mask
- Rinse your hollow frame and hang to drip dry
- Wipe cushion clean or wash with soap and water
- Leave cushion to dry out of direct sunlight
- Do not reassemble until mask parts are fully dry
Weekly Cleaning
- Disassemble mask completely
- Wash hollow frame, elbow, cushion, and headgear in warm water with mild soap
- Allow hollow frame and elbow soak fully submerged in warm soapy water
- Rinse each component thoroughly
- Allow all parts to dry away from direct sunlight or heat
- Do not reassemble mask until all parts are fully dry

Is the AirFit N30i quiet?
The AirFit N30i operates at an impressively quiet 21-24 decibels, putting it on par with the noise level of rustling leaves.
What’s the difference between AirFit N30i vs AirFit P30i?
The difference between the N30i and P30i is in the mask cushion. The N30i features a nasal cradle which seals around the outside of the nose, while the P30i features nasal pillows which seal inside the nostril. Both masks feature the same headgear, top-of-head hose connection, and 360-degree swivel elbow.
What’s the difference between AirFit N30i vs N30?
The AirFit N30 features the same nasal cradle cushion as the N30i, but differs in where the hose connects to the mask. The N30i features a top-of-head hose mount while the N30 connects directly in front of the face like most traditional CPAP masks.
What’s the difference between AirFit N30i vs dreamwear?
The DreamWear Nasal and AirFit N30i both feature a top-of-head hose mount with a hollow mask frame that routes airflow around the face and to a nasal cradle cushion. The DreamWear mask features a slit on the front of the cushion to diffuse exhaled air, while the N30i uses small groups of holes to accomplish this. The N30i has a more stable cushion thanks to a hard plastic cushion liner, though some reviewers find this hard plastic to be uncomfortable. While the Dreamwear Nasal mask is available in more sizes and features a softer, jelly-like frame, the N30i features an accordion-like headband to make sizing and fitting easier. Finally, the DreamWear Nasal mask uses sticky-backed headgear for better traction where the N30i uses soft fabric headgear.
Can I use AirFit N30i with chin strap?
Yes.Chin strapsare typically worn underneath the CPAP mask and headgear to provide better support, but some mask and chin strap combinations actually work better when the chin strap is worn over the CPAP mask, so be sure to experiment to find what works best for you.
Is the AirFit N30i compatible with the Airmini?
No, the AirFit N30i is not inherently compatible with the AirMini CPAP device but can be made compatible using theZephair CPAP Hose Adapter.
