It’s really a time to be merry for Merries because it looks like Momoland is making a comeback!
According to a report in a South Korean newspaper last April 10, the remaining six members of Momoland—Hyebin, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin and Nancy—have signed exclusive contracts with Inyeon Entertainment for “group activities.”
Since the members’ non-renewal of their contracts in 2023, each one has since branched out to other solo activities, such as acting and variety shows. The new contract the members have signed with Inyeon Entertainment only covers their activities as Momoland; they are expected to still continue their individual activities outside the group.
It was also said in reports that Momoland’s comeback will mostly involve overseas activities and performances.
Momoland was formed through the reality show Finding Momoland, debuting in 2016 with seven members (Hyebin, Yeonwoo, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin and Nancy). They then became a nine-member group in 2017 with Daisy and Taeha joining the group. Taeha and Yeonwoo left the group in 2019, while Daisy departed in 2020. The “Bboom Bboom” hitmakers then announced their split in 2023, when their contracts under former agency MLD Entertainment had expired.
